Evidence-Based Care, Informed by Real-World Experience
I’m Hill Yang — a remedial massage therapist and exercise scientist working at the intersection of manual therapy, movement rehabilitation, and performance care.
My work focuses on helping people move better, recover more effectively, and build physical capacity that lasts — whether you’re managing persistent pain, returning from injury, or aiming to perform at a higher level in sport or daily life.
This personal platform reflects my professional journey, clinical philosophy, and the standards that guide my work.
A Personal Journey That Shapes Clinical Insight
My pathway into health and rehabilitation began with lived experience.
As a child, I faced significant health challenges that required extensive medical care and limited my ability to participate in physical activity until my mid-teens. Over time, through structured training, education, and disciplined progression, I rebuilt my physical capacity from the ground up.
That journey — from restriction to resilience — continues to inform how I assess, treat, and guide others today. I understand adaptation, recovery, setbacks, and long-term progression not just academically, but practically.
What I Do
My work integrates hands-on treatment, movement assessment, and exercise-based rehabilitation to address both symptoms and contributing factors.
Areas of focus include:
-
Remedial and clinical massage therapy
-
Myofascial and soft-tissue techniques
-
Movement and functional assessment
-
Chronic pain and load-related conditions
-
Injury rehabilitation and return-to-activity planning
-
Performance support for active individuals and athletes
Care is always tailored, evidence-informed, and guided by how the body functions as a system — not just where pain is felt.
Professional Background & Approach
I hold formal qualifications across massage therapy, exercise science, sports training, and movement assessment, and I maintain active membership with multiple professional and industry bodies.
My approach is:
-
Evidence-based, not trend-driven
-
Individualised, not protocol-only
-
Function-focused, not symptom-isolated
I work closely with how muscles, fascia, joints, breathing, and nervous system responses interact during real movement — because that’s where lasting change occurs.

-
Athletes seeking performance and recovery support
